Message from A World to Win Kabale-Uganda Group

A Rough Guide to the Future conference

Dear  Comrades,

Capitalism shamefully doesn’t allow us to meet together on such an important occasion by way of transport costs and the bureaucratic documentation involved in such a trip.

We in AWTW Uganda are committed to seeing positive changes in many social, economic and political fields that would as well be reflected and or mirrored likewise in other countries.

Some of us have sacrificed for a very long time our job opportunities, rights and freedoms as well as comfort at the expense of the vision we have for our fellow workers.

We have been convicted and harassed because of our political and philosophical views that contradict those of the ruling class and other organizations.

Our present tasks comprise of organizing into a stable strong organization in Uganda committed to tackling issues that affect us as workers. These issues include war, poverty, street kids, corruption and nepotism, lack of democracy and political intolerance, lack of freedom of speech, and press freedom, poor standards of education and poor sanitation, sewage and drainage systems.

We continue to long for your intellectual, material and financial support and are committed to being honest, sincere, transparent and democratic in all our undertakings.

Last but not least our feelings are that in you and by working with you we have been given an opportunity to help in bringing positive changes to our country and as well as on international scale and we are happy that as you do, we too do.

We are not, as has been previously the case , going to simply be part of history but also make history.

Otherwise we wish you a successful conference.

Best regards,

Weijagye  Justus
Secretary, AWTW Uganda
