Alan Bennett backs Occupy London
Playwright Alan Bennett paid a surprise visit to the Occupy London Stock Exchange camp at St Paul's Churchyard. He dropped in for a tour of the camp and a cup of tea at the Tea and Empathy Tent. He then went along to the camp's educational arm – Tent City University – and read a story about his school days. He also spoke about the importance of free education for all. Alan also donated some books - The History Boys and his family memoir, A Life Like Other People's – to the camp's library, which he signed and dedicated "To Occupy London".
