Uganda meeting 28 May 2006
The issues we tackled each briefly are:
- Absolute poverty
- Wars
- Corruption and Nepotism
- Political intorelance, freedom of speech, thought, expression and press freedom
- Post election inflation
- Health Care
- Education
- Transport
- High interest rates
- Street kids
- Poor sanitation,sewage and drainage systems
- Insecurity
- Environmental problems such as pollution
Each attending person was given item to research on for next time's discussion as we arrive on making a report and way forward. We are likely also to elect a leadership in the next meeting depending on how members are prepared.
