12:00 - meet at Barnes Bridge rail station for a walk along the Thames

14:00 - join up at St Mary's Church, Putney
St Mary's Church was the scene of the Putney Debates (a series of discussions between members of the New Model Army and the Levellers) during October/November 1647. It has a small exhibition about these momentous events.
Your options:
- 12 midday – walk from Barnes Bridge rail station to Putney Bridge along the Thames path (about 4 miles) - allows time for sandwiches/drinks along the way
2pm – meet at the church to see the exhibition and discussion
Train times
There are direct trains to Barnes Bridge & Putney from Waterloo every 4-7 minutes. Alternatively, there are trains from Victoria to Clapham Junction every 7-8 minutes, where you can change for Barnes Bridge or Putney.
